Get ready to defend your fort and go to war with your friends during a paintball match at the Edmonton Paintball Centre. Play in “The Town” or “The Fort” playing fields, playing Capture the Flag or Everyone-VS-Everyone. All equipment and paintballs will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own equipment, however no outside paintballs are allowed. No outside drinks allowed in the paintball centre.
Launch Pad is an indoor trampoline park featuring dodgeball courts, foam pit, slam dunk basketball courts, launch pads and huge freestyle court. We will have hours to bounce off the walls. The Edmonton Paintball Centre and Launch Pad waiver forms MUST be signed by parent before registration deadline. These forms can be downloaded at www.edson.ca/yia for your convenience unless otherwise stated.
*Please bring a bagged lunch/snacks, no outside drinks allowed inside Paintball Centre, YIA will buy drinks for lunch.

Throughout the National Youth Week several activities will be coordinated for youths in Edson to participate.
The organizers of the National Youth Week include; The Town of Edson, Yellowhead County, Youth Interagency and the Boys and Girls Club of Edson and District.

Whether it is recreation, drama, sport, dance, civic engagement, art, volunteerism or leadership, every day young people are involved in meaningful activities during their discretionary time. On June 8-10 we will be hosting a Memorial Barrel Race in memory of Joanna James and Michelle MacRae.
Barrels will consist of 2 days- one run indoors and one run outdoors (weather permitting) day money, prizes on average. must run both runs to qualify for average prizes. (peewee, youth and open) Not ABRA, ABRA rules will apply for ages, payout.

*4:00-5:00 ground prep indoor/outdoor (weather permitting)
*5:00 p.m Fun Rodeo Night to include Poles, Keyhole, Rescue Race (Youth), flags (Open), egg foot race. (Open to all ages)
*Saturday Time Onlies will start at 6:00-8:45 a.m
*Starting at 9:00 a.m- Grand entry
*10:00 a.m – first run (Outdoor) weather permitting
after Jackpot on Saturday, planning on a Mens Barrel Race, Bikini Barrel Race (depending on interest)
* Bonfire/Social to follow
* Sunday open riding from 7-9 a.m
* 10:00 a.m second run (indoor)
Average prizes will be awarded following Jackpot.
