Yellowhead County and the Edson and District Historical Society invite you explore the history of the iconic Roseavear Ferry and attend an open house celebrating that history with the unveiling of the Galloway Station Museum’s Rosevear Ferry display, and One Crossing at a Time book launch.

Join us on Canada Day for a family-friendly event! The Taste of Edson will be running on the Galloway Station Museum Parking Lot from 1-8 PM, check out local food vendors and fill your belly! Cookies at 4 PM following O’ Canada. Fireworks shoot off at 11 PM. Watch the Purple Pirate, Trixtan Entertainment, Indigo Circus, Flyin’ Bob and much more on stage!
As part of the Edson and District Historical Society’s monthly event series, Taste of Edson hopes to bring together local artisans, musicians and chefs to showcase Edson’s truly unique ‘taste’. The Festival is a family friendly event that will take place in the parking lot of the RCMP Centennial Park parking lot on July 1st.
