Come celebrate Canada Day with us!  From 11 am to 3 pm will be a Family Fun celebration – let’s call it Party #1!  There will be oodles for kids and kids at heart to do from toddler activities to inflatable games, circus arts, face painting, glitter tattoos, photo booth, caricaturist, food vendors, Spandy Andy, Imaginarium Puppet Theatre, Amanda Panda, Canadian Trivia for kids, crafts, cupcakes, and more!! Then you can go home for a little siesta and come back in the evening for a concert in the park complete with 3 bands, beer gardens hosted by the Edson Rotary Club in the Galloway Museum, and musical fire works at 11:15!

This portion of Canada Day begins at 7:00 pm with Edson Pipes and Drums, O Canada, smudge and blessing and then our first band of the evening, local recording artists “Flexbender” will get the crowd moving.  “Pepperland”, a Beatles tribute band from Edmonton will follow after them and lastly, we will be delighted by “Mbira Renaissance” and Afro-fusion band also hailing from Edmonton.  To add to the party, the Edson Rotary Club will be hosting a beer garden in the Galloway Station Museum with Canadian Trivia contest hosted by the Museum staff, there will be food trucks, Caricatures by Simon, and Hip Image will have their photo booth up and running to capture your memories!

Make sure to stick around for musical fireworks at 11:15!

Niton Pool and Park – Youth Interagency @ Repsol Place
Aug 21 @ 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Spend the day playing in the outdoor pool, riding the pump track and exploring the playground in Niton Junction. Bring your own lunch, swim suit, and towel plus a bike or scooter if you’d like to check out the pump track. Helmets are mandatory. The bus leaves Repsol Place at 12PM and returns at approx. 4:30PM. Ages 11-17.
