Hatter’s Ball Murder Mystery, Dinner and Silent Auction @ Galloway Station Museum
Apr 7 @ 6:30 pm

The neighborhood socialites have touted the Hatter’s Ball as the bash of the year in the isolated town of Bloodworth Falls. Mayor Riley White has organized the event in the old Ravenwood Castle as a diversion from the scandals that have plagued the town in recent months. Of course, it’s no coincidence that the ball is scheduled right before the upcoming mayoral election. The mayor posted the invite list online, and your adversaries have already sent their RSVPs. You’re intrigued and have decided you cannot miss an opportune moment to seek revenge on those who have crossed you in the past. Now, you are on the hunt for the perfect hat.

This event is a fundraiser for the West Yellowhead Pregnancy Care Centre. The mystery is interactive, mingling style with each guest playing a role. There will be a catered meal and a silent auction. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased by calling Tania at 780-723-4364.

Heart and Stroke Big Bike @ Edson & District Boys and Girls Club

The Big Bike challenge is Heart & Stroke’s (H&S) second largest fundraising event that raises vital money annually in Alberta to help create more survivors from heart disease and stroke. The H&S Big Bike is a school bus sized “tandem” bike that holds up to 29 adult riders plus one experienced H&S driver that is over 2 tons of fun! Our goal at H&S is to make each Big Bike ride as enjoyable as possible. Over the course of an event we host engaging warm-up activities that will get your heart pumping before your BIG ride, we play awesome, high energy music during, & give away fantastic prizes after the ride is over. We even do CPR and AED education so you and your team can learn how to save a life!

• It’s easy, safe, and heart healthy for everyone!
• It’s a great way to promote your company, support world-class research, and build team morale!
• We bring the fun, we the bring prizes, we host warm up activities and provide education about how Canadians are making a difference in the lives of millions across the country through the Big Bike.
• We have a new & improved Big Bike with adjustable seats, speakers, and even an AED on board

Since 1957 H&S in Alberta has led the way to better cardiovascular health for Albertans though incredible research, health promotion, and advocacy programs. Over nearly 60 years Canadians have invested more than $1.35 billion in vital Heart and Stroke research. In that time, the death rate from heart disease and stroke has declined by more than 75%.

Can you picture you and 28 of your co-workers, neighbors, friends, and/or family members pedaling together through your community on Heart & Stroke’s Big Bike? Raising awareness and funds for a great cause all while getting a great work out!

Help support the fight against heart disease and stroke and help to CREATE MORE SURVIVORS here in Alberta and across Canada by RIDING THE BIG BIKE with your team!

We will be riding every 30 minutes between 10:00AM and 6:00PM – call David at 780-229-7011 to book your ride!
