To recognize Random Acts of Kindness week, the Community Engagement Action Team (CEAT) is hosting a video contest to encourage community members to reflect on kindness they have experienced, shown or witnessed. We are asking that you consider the importance and impact kindness can have on another individual, to promote kindness in our community.
The submission period starts December 9, 2019 and runs until February 6, 2020. Following the submission period, CEAT members will view all submissions and narrow them down to three winners.
Random Acts of Kindness Week events will happen in our community February 16-22nd, 2020. Videos created by you will be posted on our CEAT social media platforms, as well as shared by our members to their respective pages.

Create a 60-second video for Random Acts of Kindness week that can include but are not limited to these themes: What is kindness? How has kindness affected you? What is the greatest act of kindness? How can the community be kind? Being a part of the kindness movement. The video can demonstrate a skit OR participants are encouraged to record themselves performing a random act of kindness, as long as they have permission from all involved prior to filming. If you do not have permission from individuals features in the video, you must blur them out.
The message: “Be Kind. It Only Takes One” MUST be featured in the video at some point.
