Snacks provided.

By signing up your child you are acknowledging that your child:

  1. Has not been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days
    2. Has not left the country in the last 14 days.
    3. Has not experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 10 days:
    -cough
    -shortness of breath
    -fever
    -runny nose
    -sore throatPlease perform a temperature check of your child before they attend. The Alberta Daily Health Checklist will also be done at the time of drop off.

We will be encouraging frequent handwashing.

The Town of Edson and the Local RCMP Detachment are inviting you to a Virtual Town Hall Meeting on October 28th from 7PM to 9PM.

Detachment Commander, S/Sgt Christian Delisle, will be presenting crime statistics and discussing policing strategies with the community through a virtual Zoom meeting. If you would like to be part of the discussion, please join us on October 28th.

Seniors Halloween Parade

Halloween Seniors Parade – Town of Edson FCSS is working together with the Deanna Mitchener at the Weekly Anchor, Edson Fire and community partners to host a parade for seniors on October 31st in the afternoon. If you’d like to participate in the parade please call 780-723-8616 to register your vehicle. We will be judging car decorating and costumes, so dress up if you like. As per COVID-19 regulations, all participants must remain in their vehicles. Our route will highlight seniors residences in the area. Help us brighten up the fall day for our senior residents!

Born to Shine Scrapbook (Ages 9-14) @ Kinsmen Shack (Building Beside the Spray Park)

Activities include: create a “Born to Shine” Scrapbook, led by a local scrapbooker. Scrapbook, all cut outs and materials will be provided.
Each kit includes
-My Acrylix Born to Shine stamp set
-a mini 2″ x 3.5″ stamping block
-a 4 ” x 4″ album
All materials and supplies to create a beautiful 20 page album
We will have a Polaroid camera on hand, but please bring the following themed photos of the attendee:
-I am confident 4″x 4″ photo
-I am talented 3″ x 3″ photo
-I am brave 4″ x 4″ photo
-I am happy 3″ x 3″ photo
-I am kind 4″ x 4″ photo
-I am silly 3″ x 3″ photo
-I am loved 4″ x 4″ photo
-I am unique 3″ x 3″ photo
-I am me 3″ x 3″ photo
